Rockefeller--Lego

Rockefeller is a magnificent mansion sitting in the middle of Manhattan and beside it of course there is a place called Rockefeller center. This is my second time visiting the great building. However the Lego shop located in the center as well as the mansion itself still surprised and made me feel so excited. Before we enter the 259m high  mansion we visit the world famous Lego shop, which including all sort of  Lego that you couldn't imagine. Even of those Lego that had already been out of print you can still find in this shop. With the great variety of those Lego, my eyes was filled with all of those vivid colors and types. Inside the shop I saw people from children to adult. Everyone of them were finding something they were looking for and fond of. What I think the most interesting in this store was the little table located in the side of the shop that look like an buffet area, on this table was filled with many little boxes, each box contained different kind of Lego outfit that you can put on the little Lego man. There were outfit of pants, shirts, cap, as well as different faces you can pick. Even did I this 18 year old teenager enjoy making the little Lego man.

  1. Dear Jack,

Your travel story of visiting LEGO shop reminds me of my trip in Berlin. When my friend and I traveled there, we found that there was a LEGO Land and we decided to pay a visit immediately. Going inside, we saw many landmarks in Berlin built with those LEGO bricks. And there were some areas for kids to play LEGO, to understand how to produce these tiny bricks ,and to watch 4D animations. Though I felt kind of weird to have fun with those kids, my friend and I indeed regain our childhood memories in LEGO Land.

  2. Hi, jack. I think playing Lego would be a common memory of children. I had seen an exhibition of Lego art last year. I was also amazed by the diverse type and fancy combination of Lego. I truly can’t imagine that Lego, a toy, could touch so much. The artist ingeniously used the character of Lego---- it can be anything, and it’s always changing , being took apart and combined again in a different appearance. Just like the grow up of people(mentally). We’ve been defeated or encountered setback, than in all these chaos, we piece up a new self.
